What Is a Certified English–Macedonian Translation?

A certified translation is not the same as a professional translation. A regular translation converts the text. A certified translation goes further: it is signed by an official court translator who attests that the content is a complete and accurate rendering of the original — and who is held professionally and legally accountable for that statement.

In North Macedonia, courts, notarial offices, universities, government agencies, and foreign embassies will only accept translations bearing the certification of a licensed court translator. That licence is issued by the Ministry of Justice. Translators without that licence cannot produce legally valid certified translations, regardless of their language skills.

Sudski Prevodi MK is operated by Dimitar Bardakoski, who holds the official court translator licence issued by the Ministry of Justice of North Macedonia. Every translation delivered carries his signed certification, making it legally valid for any official purpose in North Macedonia and accepted internationally by institutions that require certified translations.
